Southwest High School offers a complete academic program including 18 dual credit classes (in association with Palo Alto College), ON RAMPS classes in Science, and Advanced Placement classes in Science and English.

The Dragons participate in UIL District 29-5A competitions for Academic Team, Athletics, Band, Drama, Choir, Color Guard, and Dance. Other co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities include NJROTC, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Cyberpatriots, Best Buddies, Student Council, FFA, BPA, Skills USA, and Academic Decathlon.

At Southwest High School,  we are committed to service, growth and results for all students!
